It is one of the famous Buddhist stupa on the Nagarjuna Hill which is about 7km. west from Kathmandu. A motorable road leads through Raniban (Queen forest) to this stupa. It takes about 45 minutes to reach there in our private vehicle while hike is about 5 km. on foot and takes about 2 hours. It is quite steep and one has to climb about 754 m. in altitude as the stupa is situated on the top of the Nagarjuna hill at 2128m. altitude. Nagarjuna hill is also described in literature as Vindya mountain.
Hiking Itinerary Details:
Day 1: Your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport and you will be meet our airport representative then transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Sightseeing of world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley including, Kathmandu Darbar square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath stupa & Pashupatinath.
Day 3: After the breakfast 15 minutes drive to hiking point and 3 hours hike to Nagarjuna Hill, our guide will carry pack lunch and water because, there are not available any teahouse and shops. From the top of Nagarjuna hill enjoy the magnificent view including Langtang, Gaurishankar, Ganesh himal and other Himalayan ranges.
Day 4:Transfer to the International airport.
