Rani Mahal is a historic palace located in Tansen, Palpa. Rani Mahal means “Queen’s Palace” in English built in the 19th century by Khadga Shumsher Rana. This palace is also known as the “Taj Mahal of Nepal”, although it is not similar to the Taj Mahal visually.
