Kalinchowk is a tourist destination and a sacred site for Hindus that attracts visitors from different parts of Nepal. How to reach Kalinchowk?
The distance from Kathmandu to Charikot is approximately 150 kilometers. It takes 5-6 hours to reach there. You could also get a local bus from Kathmandu to Charikot. From Charikot, there is an 18-kilometer off-road stretch leading to Kuri Village. There is a transporation service from Charikot to Kuri. To reach Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple from Kuri Village, you can either embark on a 1.5-hour hike or opt for a quick five-minute cable car ride.
